Srila Sridhar Maharaj: That is a criterion, that Chaitanya ... bhakta ..., I have no objection to behead you. He he. When you say ‘Chaitanya is my bhakta, you are God.’ Chaitanyadeva is the highest conception of Godhead, you say ‘You are my devotee’. This is enough, that you are a heinous brute, and you say that ‘I am a yogi, I can do anything and everything, come to me, I shall give you the freedom of India again’, all these talks of nonsense? And he was brutish because he was, he made some conspiracy to create disturbance to the ruling authority. So British sent Bhaktivinode Thakur to capture him, and to judge him. And he was taken to prison, and he fasted and died. In opposition of his imprisonment, he took fasting, and he died. He was a yogi – anyone approaching to cut his jata in the jail – a fire spark coming out. Then they all fled, the native barbers, then one doctor European doctor, he came forward to cut this jata, means this hair, hair that is knotted, knotted hair. Then when the hair was cut, he became an ordinary man. Anyhow he fasted against his imprisonment and he had to die. Hare Krishna, Gaura Haribol, Gaura Haribol

Any loud crying is not crying for God. Godly chanting, that has got its special quality. Without surrendering nothing can be devotion. Until ‘pariprasnena seva’ we cannot be admitted into school of devotion proper. In the theistic school, if we want any admission, then we must have this qualification. We must go to a proper professor. He will have all sorts, some symptom, and the disciple also must have some sort of symptom, total surrender, then honest enquiry, and then enquiry for which, that I want to be utilised for the higher, not that I shall, I want, like Aladdin demon, some higher power to use for my lower propensity. Not that tendency. I want to be utilised for the higher power, self-abnegation complete. I want to be utilised, what I know that is best, the higher cannot come to serve the lower, this common sense must be there. Then that enquiry after truth will be granted. Otherwise it is no, it is false transaction. Both the teacher and the student they both should be criminal, criminally prosecuted according to the truthful. Here we stop today.

"May that Lord of the cows be satisfied by us. Who is Indra when compared to Krsna? Krsna is the master of Indra. And yet He has appeared as the master of cows; the Supreme Absolute Truth has accepted a simple position as the keeper of cows. Superficially, He is a mere cowherd boy. But let that cowherd boy, who holds within Him the power of controlling the whole universe, be satisfied with us. We want to worship that Lord who has taken the humble position of the king of the cows." (S-B, 10.26.25).
The very gist of the story, the lila, has been expressed in this sloka. Sukadeva Goswami inaugurating Govardhan lila, Gopala, in this way. The story behind, that those cow-kings they used to perform some sacrifice for the satisfaction of the god of clouds, god of subtle powers, who is the controller of the subtle powers of nature, who is supposed to manage the necessary rain, and by the help of that rain, the jungle, the grass generally grows and the cow can eat, graze in that grazing field. So there was such usage that with all their might used to worship the god, Indra, Mahendra, who is supposed to make arrangement for the clouds and timely necessary rain by which the grass will grow very happily and the foodstuff supply of their cows, buffaloes etc that will be safe. And their property is cow. Anyhow by milk, by calve? they are to live generally in the jungle. Their main property income was the cows. And so many chiefs there were, they so used to have many cows for their livelihood and everything for. So Nanda was also that type like Jajaver? they were not always having their permanent seat in one place but according to the necessity of the grazing grass they used to remove from place to place in that vicinity. First Nanda was in Gokul when Krishna was born, again he moved to Nandagram and in the middle also he moved in some other places, it is told.
Now Krishna, the Gopal, when He was the age of 7 only, he told the chiefs of the cow-keepers, so many cow-keepers were under one chief, one King, Nanda Maharaj. He gave the proposal "Here you are near Nandagram and the main fodder you get from this Giri-Raj-Govardhan. The grass, the jungle, the creepers, the food of the cows mainly you get from Govardhan. In a plea he put this (in a) diplomatic way. "So no necessity of worshipping, necessity of flattery about that demi-god Indra. Who is he? You rather make arrangement to worship Giri-Raj-Govardhan and stop that annual celebration worshipping of Indra, for the rain purpose, proper rain and then the supply of the grass to your cows". Anyhow, some reluctantly, and some fearfully, they took the, accepted the proposal of that boy because they heard that this boy was not an ordinary boy, He has got some mystic background. Maha-Rishi Garga came when the boy about 6 months to give His name, he told this to Nanda Maharaj that “your boy is not an ordinary boy, He has His previous record SLOKA? " The sage, the great sage Garga he remarked at the time of the ceremony, the name giving ceremony of Krishna. " Nanda, your boy is not an ordinary one, you are of white colour in Satya yuga, in Treta He was of red colour and also He takes yellow colour. Now He has come with blue colour.

[Garga Muni had said:] Your son Krishna appears as an incarnation in every millennium. In the past He assumed three different colours—white, red and yellow—and now He has appeared in a blackish colour.
Srimad Bhagavatam 10.26.16
Suklo raktas tatha pita - there pita means it is reserved for Kali Yuga and it helps to understand, that Avatar in disguise, Mahaprabhu, that He is pita avatar Yuga-Avatar . Four specific Avatars for four specific yugas. It is found .... four handed white incarnation we have in Satya yuga, the golden first age. .... it is also mentioned in Bhagavatam and many other places, Mahabharata etc that in Treta, He comes with a red colour and this is to inaugurate Yuga-Dharma, what will be the special religious duty of the general public to instruct that, and in kali-yuga He also comes to put the Yuga-Dharma in yellow colour, and now that supernatural figure has come in blue colour, black colour." This was said by Garga Muni to Nanda when he came to perform the name ceremony of Krishna that was ventilated in the society and by some other incidents also they came to this judgement that this boy is a mystic one, mysterious not an ordinary boy like us.
So through the arguments of the boy and the, his influence anyhow made them to accept His proposal. They stopped what was done from very, very early stage by their predecessors, the yagya for the satisfaction of Indra, that was stopped and the puja for Govardhana was added. They took all their prepared things to offer towards near Govardhana, and Krishna, at that time, showed some miracle, that one hand from the top of Govardhana is coming and taking those offerings. Some sort. So they’re satisfied but when Indra came to know that one boy born in Vrndavan, "some say they have got some supernatural power, He has stopped my regular, respectful worship, what the milkmen were doing from so long a time, so it cannot be tolerated silently, I must try to teach them a lesson, so that they may not venture to stop". He ordered all the subtle, natural powers, presiding personal aspect, that “go and devastate the whole of Vrajabhumi”

He saved them mahendram adabhit by the madness or the excitement or intoxicating of Indra, the King of the gods, of supernatural power, by mahendram adabhit this way He cowed down that great King of the heaven, Indra,
priyan na indro gavam such
"The King, our King of the cows, indro gavam who is King of the cow-keepers, King of the cowboys, He brought to kneel the big King of the heaven, Indra known as Maha Indra, that commander and controller of great resources, that is Indra, the subtle power, he has got extensive power over the subtle potencies of the world, our, the King of the cowboys, He brought him to his knees. Let him be propitiated, pleased with us fallen souls."
In this way he has begun the story. A very wonderful thing for a boy of seven.
This cannot be relied on. Come with trust ... but who is the controller of everything in other cases also he showed it to Bramha, to any other opposition, He showed like miracles the Master of Miracles. It came to my mind that if it is possible, the weight, to stop the gravitation of the earth, no weight, if any earth scientifically ha ha if any earth can be known or shown that by a particular touch, the weight, the gravitation will stopped, no weight, ha ha ha, then it is possible like a playing ball it can be taken up and keep it there.
Will power, His will power, that is the "Let there be water, there was water! Let there be light, there was light!" Will power at the root of everything. What is shown, what we see, what we see, we feel, what is at the back, at the root? Will! Universal-Will and modified by our crude, small will, individual, and (if) that is withdrawn everything is dark. All comes from the subjective world. The Magician controls the subject and can show us anything and everything and then when we came back into the world of science then we feel as if we have been deceived by the Magician. But at the time we are helpless. The seer is controlled, not the seen. Drsta The subject, by controlling the subject can show anything and everything "You see this, see that!".
When Krishna enters the playground of Kamsa and different sections of people are seeing Him differently because He is showing Himself to different sections in a different way, controlling, The Super Controller of our submissive subjects as we are, of a lower order. Higher order subject can make influence over the lower order of subject, subjective particles and the world is such from the subtle, from fine it is coming to the conception of the gross. So, this, Everything is possible if we have conception of the all-controller, God and His full independence of Him. Everything is designed and destined by Him. Designed and destined. Past and future in Him, in His consciousness in His consciousness everywhere we have to see. We think it is impossible - miracle ........ ? but all this presupposes that we won't , that the cause of the world is a Perfect One, omniscient, Omnipotent, all loving Absolute, we can't. Every day if we inspect carefully we shall come to such a thing that this is, Everything is wonderful! Everything is wonderful ! Any research by the scientific method (is) astonishing but it is already there and the creator and the protector of that wonderful things in the whole of the world background, that He is endowed with omniscience and omnipotence - we can't go so far to admit that already the nature, the outside that is perfect. We are not masters. We are finding only a point of astonishment. Every point we find and a new thing with astonishment we are astounded. So many astounded researches are being made, still we can't think that the source of and the keepers, protectors of all these astounding incidents - He is perfect. We can't go to advance so far. We are vipralipsha we are always suffering from vipra .. vipralipsha means self-deception. We are always suffering from this disease of self-deception. Everything is producing some astonishment wonder, still I won't admit that the cause outside He is some perfect principle, God, that can do anything and everything. Our science, knowledge won't allow then the, our credit will be buried underground, no credit is there and as His instrument we are doing anything and
everything, no individual credit of a scientific research scholar so self-deception.
This Govardhan-Giri-Raja, Giri-raj at that time Krishna showed what was offered to Him as if a hand is coming and He is taking everything. Thereby it is shown that He's another aspect of Krishna Himself.
So like salagrama the vaishnava this .... rasa vaishnava where attracted, attached to this .... Bhagavan Vrndavan lila ... takes that particle, seeming particle ... any number of infinite together infinite. Part of infinite is also infinite. What is seen to us a particle of Govardhan sila that is also Govardhan fully represented there. And it is seen by the practices .... including Mahaprabhu Himself, He gave that Govardhan sila to Dasa Goswami and he got it, that Govardhan sila means Krishna Himself. And ... mala also part of lamenting the sila and he was impressed to think, inspired to think, this ornament around Krishna, that is Radharani, to beautify, to serve, to please Him, it is, that aspect comes from Radharani. In this way Dasa Goswami began the worship of Govardhan sila. And thence the Gaudiya Vaishnava they generally use this Govardhan sila as representation of Krishna ... in Bhagavatam and ... given us to know, to be known by Mahaprabhu by giving Himself a piece of Govardhan sila to Dasa Goswami. You do it in any way. Though he was a son of a very rich man at the time, but at that time he was a beggar in the street and he used to, only by tulasi and the water, Dasa goswami offered that Govardhan sila and the ... mala, Krishna and Radha, and he ... of worship, the materials to worship only water and tulasi ‘jal tulasi, bhava gra ....’ with this the means, this is the medium through which the bhagava, the internal feeling of worship goes to the eternal cause of beauty and love. Through that medium which he has ... established here that ‘I am this Govardhan’. This way. When I came here first, leaving the Math of our Guru Maharaj, went to Vrindavan, and for a whole month circumambulated, and when I left that observing the ...vrata for one month during this Kartika. Kartika ... means kirtika. The name of Radharani’s mother was Kirtika, the foster mother. And from that Kartiki is the name of Radharani. And the month of Kartika is considered to be especially auspicious, connected with the name of Radharani. As Krishna Himself says in Bhagavad Gita: ‘masanam marga-shirso’ham‘ - marga-shirso - month, that is the representation of Krishna, and just before that Kartika, that is the representation of Radharani. So this month is accepted by the devotees to be very very purest of the pure. And they observe vrata. And the gopis also observe this kart... vrata during this month with the object of getting the son of Nanda as their Lord. So this month was ... and after that I took sila and came here, and in a cottage I lived 19, during the end of 1940. So from that time I am here, and this is also Govardhan in Navadwipa. Gupta Vrindavan, Navadwipa, has got everything parallel, corresponding to Vrindavan. From the Vrindavan somewhere this is located as Govardhan, Koladanga. This was very high place at one time. Elevated land. Now by the floods it is reduced but previously it was high elevated land here. This has been called Govardhan Koladanga, Govardhan. And Radha Kund on the other side of the station. In this way it has been located by the mahajanas, this corresponding piece of Vrindavan. It is ... and that is within their own, own companion. And this is to give distribution of Vraja rasa, and that is tasting amongst Themselves, Vraja rasa. Govardhan and here is the (earth?) and we observe some sort of ceremony in order that we may be purified for the service of the (earth?), Vrindavan, Mahaprabhu, in a proper plane. Plane.
