Objectives of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math:

(1) Revive and to spread the Theistic Culture and knowledge of India through the world and in practicing and propagating the gospel of the Divine Love as advocated by the revealed vedic authorities, Upanisads, Bhagavatam, Gita and other Scriptures and propagated by Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

(2) Revive in the minds of the sincere souls the eternal spirit of the pure devotion to Supreme Lord Sri Krishna.

(3) Scrutinize, the study of the pure devotion, its philosophy, doctrines, rituals, etc... Comparative study and the investigation within other systems of Religions, Faith, Dogmas, Philosophical and Ethical Doctrines. An institution, with the vision to obtain universal harmony and brotherhood.

Method:

(1) The saints of India by evidences from scriptures have divided the time in four periods that mark to the deterioration of the humanity from the happiness and honesty (innocence): Satya, Treta, Dwapara, and Kali. These material periods of time, run in a cycle. The section of Kali Yuga is of 432.000 years solar. The longevity of Dwapara, Treta and Satya is the double, the triple and four times the life of Kali Yuga respectively. Satya Yuga consists of four classes of virtues: Tapasya (austerity), Shoucha(purity), Daya (compassion), Satya (veracity). Treta Yuga consists of three classes of virtues (one less), of Dwapara Yuga two classes of virtues and Kali Yuga is left with only one class of virtue. Also in the western countries the time is divided in four periods: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. But its determination in time sections is different. The saints of India by the eligibility of the human beings in the different eras, prescribe four forms of adoration: Dhyan (meditatiion), Yajna (sacrifice), Pujan (adoration to the deity) and Harinam Sankirtan (singing and cahnting of the holy name). One emphatically declares three times in the Brihan-Naradiya Purana, that in Kali Yuga, the only type of adoration is Harinam (the Divine Name), Harinam, alone and nothing else. Without Harinam, certainly there is no other way to arrive at the highest objective of the spiritual life. Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in Sri Mayapur, Nadia, in western Bengal (India) firstly, to revive the transcendental pastimes of Supreme Lord Sri Krishna, accepting the style of adoration of Srimati Radharani and secondly to propagate Harinam Sankirtan for the benefit of the human beings and all the alive beings of the world. Sree Chaitanya Gaudia Math Propogates the same Harinam Sankirtan movement that was inaugurated by the Golden Lord Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

(2) By performing Harinam Sankirtan with the association of Suddha Bhaktas (Sadhus), trustworthily avoiding the ten offenses and execution of the Harinama sincerely the eternal nature of the spiritual core will appear and devotion without self interest to Sri Krishna will be obtained. When there is devotional sincerity, there will be true love for Sri Krishna and love for all the living beings in relation to Sri Krishna. When the center of the interest is love to God, there will be no discord. If there are different centers from interest, then discord is inevitable. For example if different circumferences are drawn up with different centers, the circumferences were crossed to each other. Under the standard of the Harinam Sankirtan, the human beings independent of chaste, creed or religion can be united, and there will be no disorder in the world.

Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Regd. Institution was established for the implementation of the above mentioned objectives.. Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math is one of the major Gaudiya missions. The emphasis of Sree Chaitanya Gaudia Math is to maintain quality and not quantity. Thus, it may seems surprising that the mission has only 22 Maths up to date. However, if one visited some of these Maths, immediately one would be impressed by the participation of the members of the Math and the quality of there Bhajan. Each Math is administered by a senior spiritual Sannyasi. In addition, there are many centers of preaching all over India in Jammu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat where Srila Tirtha Maharaj preaches extensively but still feels without desires to construct a Math although there are lands available and ample money promised by the community of traders. This is the justification to Math's quality. Srila Tirtha Maharaj will never leave the standard of his Gurudeva to make more disciples, more temples or to print more books. If one tries to physically follow Srila Tirtha Maharaj, soon he will be exhausted. He does not remain at one place, does not have a residence, nor a car either. It is only and exclusively by his dedication to the standards imposed by his Gurudeva that Srila Tirtha Maharaj run and manages the affairs of Sree Chaitanya Gaudia Math.
